This piece for vocalist (intoning) and ensemble of open instrumentation (grounding/haloing) is influenced by climate change, cycles, loops, periodicity, astronomy, astrology, the spheres, vibration, embodied acoustic subjectivity or intimate acoustics, scales of all kinds, entrainment, love languages, the poetry of Robert Lax, and W. A. Mathieu's book "Harmonic Experience" among other things.The score is written as a melody for the vocalist and a text score for the ensemble which describes two modes of supporting the vocalist and invites the players to move between them.
